DMEM (& DM) history
An initial meeting of the founding board of advisors was held in May 2006. The group agreed that the ministry should form and begin work based on Dallas' gifting as an evangelist. Dallas Morales Evangelistic Ministries was launched the following month. This followed a 25-year+ ministry through Dallas in areas of pastoring, teaching, youth ministry, prison ministry, revivalistic preaching and one-on-one personal evangelism. Dallas graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1984 and received the degree of Master of Divinity with Religious Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Wake Forest, NC) in 1986. Currently, Dallas is working towards the Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) in Missions, Evangelism and Church Growth at Southeastern. He is pastor of Bethany Baptist Church in Julian, North Carolina. DMEM is organized under Cliffdale Community Church in Fayetteville, NC.
